James O. McDuffy, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, August 13, 2011, at his residence. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 15, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Tim Dixon. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Thacker, Billy Hoing, Jacon Chapman, Jimmy Young, John Harderick, and Jerry Davis. J. C. Roberts will serve as Honorary Pallbearer. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy McDuffy of Iuka, MS; 2 sons, Randy McDuffy (Debbie) and Tracy McDuffy (Kim), both of Iuka, MS; 2 daughters, Marilyn Hoing (Billy) of Shannon, MS, and Annette Thacker (Jerry) of Iuka, MS; 2 sisters, Clara Yarber and Lila Jones, both of Iuka, MS; 5 grandchildren, Amy Chapman of Pontotoc, MS, Samantha Henderson of Jackson, MS, Brandy Heitz of Iuka, MS, Kasey McDuffy, of Iuka, MS, and Kaitlin McDuffy of Iuka, MS; and 6 great-grandchildren, Zane Chapman, Alexis Heitz, Alan Heitz, Sophie Henderson, Cash Henderson, and Luke Henderson. He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Anna Maria Hoing and James Matthew Hoing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Fund.
