Robert Daniel Aday, 63, of Iuka, Mississippi, died at his residence on August 10, 2011 after an extended illness. He was a lifelong Tishomingo County resident. Before becoming disabled, he worked as a carpenter and an electrician. He had previously worked at Tyrone Hydraulics/Dana Corporation in Corinth and was a bus driver in Burnsville. He enjoyed flea markets, woodworking, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a beloved husband and father, and devoted his life to his family. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Friday, August 12 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Allen Osborn. Interment will follow in Carpenter Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 2 sons – Rodney Aday (Kenlynn “Kennie”) and Ritchie Aday, both of Iuka; 2 daughters – Michelle Osborn (Stephen) of Burnsville and Monica Ashcraft and fiancé, Richard Wallace, of Iuka; 1 brother – Billy Lambert (Joyce) of Iuka; 1 sister – Martha Glover (Albert) of Iuka; 5 grandchildren – Billy Russell Osborn (Stephanie), Daniel Aday, Chelsea Osborn, Dillon Aday, and Riley Aday; 3 step grandchildren – Misty Ball, Jacob Osborn, and Anna Fretwell; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mildred “Mickie” Ann Osborn Aday; his parents, Riley Lee and Letha Lambert Aday; 2 sisters, Janette and Kathy Moss; a son-in-law, Wayne Ashcraft; and his grandparents James and Rosia Strickland Lambert and Robert and Sallie Prewitt Aday.
