Joyce Daniel Robertson

Joyce Daniel Robertson, 79, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. She was a very active member of Harmony United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women’s group, and a former teacher at the old Central School. Mrs. Robertson was totally dedicated to her family, her friends, and her community. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m, Friday, August 5, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, at Harmony United Methodist Church in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ronnie Goodwin, Bro. Jimmy Daniel, and Bro. Rusty Fair. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Myra Barnes of Iuka, and Kate (Kathy) Davis of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Virginia Morris and Annette Tucker, both of Iuka, and Linda Wallace of Cherokee, AL; one brother, Bro. Jimmy Daniel; three grandchildren, Courtney Fair, Corey Barnes, and Jonathan Davis; and four great grandchildren, Annsleigh Fair, Cole Fair, Ella Kate Fair, and Callie Barnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurchel Robertson; and her parents, Marshall and Dudgar Daniel. Memorials may be made to the Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
