Lois Robertson Marlar, 88, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Before her illness, she loved to work in her flowers and garden. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Audie Huggins. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers include Don Robertson, Joe Robertson, Zach Robertson, Darren Heath, Derrick Lynch, Austin Wood, Russ Robinson, and Keith Morris. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 daughter, Carolyn Marlar of Iuka, MS; three nephews, Don Robertson (Cathy) of Tupelo, MS, Joe Robertson (Pat) of Madison, MS, and Jimmy W. Marlar (Betty) of Iuka, MS; and a sister-in-law, Aline Robertson Forbert of Meridian, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett C. “Jack” Marlar; her parents, Clester and Edith Morris Robertson; and two brothers, James E. “J. E.” Robertson and Estes Lee Robertson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
