JoJo Gamble, 74, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, July 10, 2011, at his home after a long battle with cancer. He served in the U. S. Army, and was an operating engineer for 45 years. His greatest love was for music, and would play his bucket for anyone that wanted to listen. He also enjoyed golf and collecting cars. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Tim Dixon, with cremation to follow. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rebecca Gamble of Iuka, MS; 1 son, James Bazzy of Iuka, MS; 4 daughters, Leah Carter (Michael) of Iuka, MS, Barbara Davis (Marty) of Iuka, MS, Patti Bertsche (Greg) of Seattle, WA, and Deanne Gamble of Des Plaines, IL; 2 brothers, Jerry Gamble of Burnsville, MS, and Rick Gamble (Sandy) of Sheffield, AL; 2 sisters, Ellen Dixon and Linda Lee, both of Iuka, MS; 3 grandchildren, Matthew and Nicholas Davis of Iuka, MS, and Isabell Bertsche of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
