Shirley Bullard, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, died June 21, 2011, at her residence. She was a member of Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church, and was a retired LPN. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Thursday, June 23 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church, and will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Garrett. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chris Hubbard, Pat Evans, Ronald Montgomery, Ethan Montgomery, Jimmy Whitfield, and Dale Price. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 3 daughters – Theresa Evans of South Carolina; Brenda Hubbard (Norman) of Iuka; and Glenda Matlock (Wayne) of Franklin, KY; 6 grandchildren – Cassie Montgomery (Ronald), Jennifer Ryles (Raymond), Chris Hubbard (Teresa), Pat Evans (Ashley), Jeanann Hungate (Shawn), and Kathleen Matlock; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Bullard; her parents, Phin and Lilly Price; 8 sisters, and 4 brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Fund or the Fairview Cemetery Fund.
