Ann Cummings, 52, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, April 04, 2011, at her residence. She was the owner and operator of Carrington House assisted living facility. She loved taking care of her patients, and they were like a second family to her. She was a true free spirit, and was the best ally a family member or a friend could ever have. She cherished and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Tuesday, April 05 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Roger Wood. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – A.T. Marlar, III (Cortney) of Burnsville, MS; her stepmother, Memphis Cummings of Burnsville, MS; 3 brothers – James Ray Cummings; Charles Clay Cummings (Linda); and Ricky Cummings (Wanda) all of Iuka, MS; 2 sisters – Marlene Bonds of Burnsville, MS and Debbie Hudson (Steve) of Iuka, MS; 1 step sister – Rose Marie Ward of Corinth, MS; 4 grandchildren – MCayden Marlar, Bella Marlar, Saydee Marlar, and Trinity Marlar; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
