Bill Bolton

Roy E. “Bill” Bolton, 76, of Iuka, Mississippi, died March 8, 2011, at his residence. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, fishing, attending church events, and spending time with his family. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Wednesday, March 9 at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Jesse Massey and Bro. Malcolm Garrett. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers include J.C. Johnson, Casey Johnson, Chuck Clark, Robbie Taylor, Randy Byrd, and Ricky Waldrep. Honorary bearers will be Paul Brents, Donnie Cain, and Calvin Johnson. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Syble Bolton of Iuka, MS; 2 sons – Timothy Bolton of Decatur, AL and Mark Bolton (Tammy) of Iuka, MS; 2 daughters – Betty Johnson (Ronnie) of Iuka, MS and Vickie Donlin (Rich) of Cleveland, TN; 1 daughter in law – Patricia Bolton of Kingston, TN; 1 brother – Houston Bolton (Jackie Nell) of Cherokee, AL; 2 sisters – Ruby Bradshaw (Brad) of Phoenix, AZ and Dean Russo (Joe) of Detroit, MI; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lizzie Bolton; 2 sisters – Bessie Owens and Effie Miller; and 1 brother, Hubert Bolton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Poplar Springs Cemetery Fund.
