Mary Jo McAnally, 67, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church where she served as a nursery worker. She retired from Wal-Mart where she was employed as a department manager. She was a member of the Iuka Homemaker’s Club. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and gospel music. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10, at the Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Ronnie Hatfield and Bro. Steve Parrish. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son, Tabo McAnally of Iuka ,MS; 1 brother, William Barnett of Booneville, MS; and 2 grandchildren, Maddy and Melodie McAnally. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Gladys Barnett; a sister, Dot Phillips; and a grandson, Tad McAnally. Memorials may be made to the Iuka Baptist Church.
