Ellen Parsons, 90, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, January 23, 2011, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. She enjoyed vegetable gardening. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Frankie Smith. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers include Timmy McAnally, Tony McAnally, Jason Bobo, Terry Phifer, Roger Barnes, Dennis Anglin, and Mark Odom. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one son, Aaron Parsons of Iuka, MS; one daughter, Annette South and husband, Donald Roy, of Collierville, TN; one grandchild, Debbie Jones of Rossville, TN; and two great-grandchildren, Greg Jones of Batesville, MS, and Anita Jones of Murfreesboro, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlon Parsons.
