Emma Gene Pace, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church. She enjoyed flea markets, auctions, and working in her yard. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 17, at Airport Mission Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Ronnie Hatfield, Bro. Perry Murphy, and Jonathan Murphy. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ricky Aday, Steve Aday, Ronnie Barrett, David Lambert, Butch Timbes, and Troy Riddell. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 4 sons, John David Murphy, Roger Dale Barrett, Jerry “Hank” Barrett, and Clarence Lee Pace, all of Iuka, MS; 1 daughter, Kathy Peters of Tupelo, MS; 3 sisters, Lucille Aday of Nitrate City, AL, and Betty Ruth Lambert and Grace Merrell, both of Iuka, MS; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dan Murphy and Charles Pace; 6 brothers; and 4 sisters.
