William L. (Bill) Segner, 57, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at his residence. He was a graduate of Anderson High School, Anderson, Indiana; and was employed by Southland Industries at The Pentagon in Washington, D.C. A member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka, he was also a member of the Boeing Bass Club, and a Life Member of Bass Masters. He loved bowling, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2003 at Cutshall Funeral Home - Iuka, 302 N. Pearl Street, Iuka, Mississippi. Bro. Jerry Copley will officiate. Interment will be in the First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iuka, Mississippi. Arrangements are entrusted to Cutshall Funeral Home, Iuka, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife, Pat Segner, of Iuka, Mississippi; his father and stepmother, William C. and Helen Segner, of Anderson, Indiana; three sons, David and Lisa Segner, of Gilbert, Arizona, Jon Mark Segner, of Iuka, Mississippi, and John and Misty Morris, of Iuka, Mississippi; two daughters, Laurie Ann Segner, of Anderson, Indiana, and Sabrina and Chris Austin of Naples, Italy; one brother, Russell and Beth Segner, of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister, Linda and Tommy Paige, of Crown Pointe, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Ellie, and Abigail Segner, all of Gilbert, Arizona; Justin and Tyler Austin, of Naples, Italy; and Renae and Michelle Morris of Iuka, Mississippi; his mother-in-law, Jeanette Wilson, of Iuka, Mississippi; a sister-in-law, Gayla and Tommy Lomenick, of Iuka, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Segner; and his father-in-law, Johnny Wilson. Visitation will be Sunday, February 23 from 3:30 until 9:00 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home - Iuka. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund, 1350 Pleasant Hill Road, Iuka, Mississippi 38852.
