Milton (Buddy) Weaver, 76, of Memphis, TN (formerly of Cherokee, AL) died Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. After graduation from Cherokee High School and the University of North Alabama, he moved to Memphis and worked as an accountant until retirement. He enjoyed his family, his pets, and Alabama football. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church in Cherokee, officiated by Bro. Edward Johnson and Bro. Andy Elliott. The body will lie in state at noon. Interment will follow in Asphalt Rock Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Sue Weaver; one son, Jeff Weaver (Jan) of Memphis; three sisters, Mazell Scott and Marilyn Cain, both of Cherokee, and Janet Pendergraft of Huntsville, two brothers, Max Weaver of Hazel Green, AL, and Jimmy Weaver of Madison, AL; a brother-in-law, Bro. R.C. Scott; and a grandson, Preston Weaver of Tuscaloosa, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Etta Weaver; one sister, Mildred Scott; and three brother-in-law, Jessie Scott, Warren Cain, and Bill Pendergraft.
