Wilmer A. (Bill) Hudson, 98, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, December 06, 2010, at his residence. He was a member of Snowdown United Methodist Church. He hauled logs, loved farming, and later worked as a mechanic for his brother. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Tuesday, December 7 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Roger Woods and Bro. John Stockton. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers include Larry Hudson, Ryan McCoy, Adam McCoy, Dewayne Brown, Jordan Pruitt, and Johnnie Hollander. Jerry McCoy, Eason Pruitt, Jeremy Arnold, and Josh Arnold will serve as honorary bearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 2 daughters: Kathleen Kiddy (Lotherial) and Geraldine Weathers (Russell) both of Iuka, MS; 1 grandson: Jerry McCoy (Betty); 1 granddaughter-in-law: Elizabeth McCoy; 8 great grandchildren: Britney, Ryan, Alana, Jeremy, Josh, Adam, Jordan, and Eason; and 4 great great grandchildren: Nicholas, Alexis, Anna Grace, and Landan. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of children, Dixie Anna Higginbottom Hudson; his second wife, Ida Brown Hudson; one grandson, Wilmer Ray McCoy; one granddaughter, Courtney Weathers Pruitt; his parents, Luther S. and Annie Ruth Hudson; 4 brothers, Troy (Short) Hudson (Ruth), Ed Hudson (Lavonia), Clinton Hudson (Gladys), and Luther Hudson (Jr.); and 3 sisters, Hazel Hollander, Tennie Dupree, and Ruth Olene Walker.
