Crystal Jolene Pugh, 20, of Tupelo, Mississippi, died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She loved working with animals at the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society where she was employed as an animal care attendant. She also loved children. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. John Shamblin. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Denny Pugh, Jr., Jesse Pugh, Jason Moreland, Michael Moreland, Corey Wilson, and Melinda Knutson. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her parents, Pamela Moreland of Palm Coast, FL, and Denny Pugh, Jr. and Michele Webb of Tupelo, MS; her grandfather, Denny Pugh, Sr.; her grandmother, Geri Maynard of Corinth, MS; and her great-grandmothers, Bea Matthews of Iuka, MS, and Maye Fox of Corinth, MS; 2 brothers, Jason Moreland of Palm Coast, FL, and Jesse Pugh of Tupelo, MS; and 2 sisters, Melinda Knutson of Palm Coast, FL, and Stephanie Pugh of Tupelo, MS. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Jolene Pugh; her grandfather, Billy Ray Moreland; her great-grandfather, Hilton Matthews; and her great-great-grandmother, Sula Armstrong.
