Tomie H. Lambert, 96, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. He was a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church, and formerly worked in the timber industry. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and gardening. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 7, at Harmony Hill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Allen Osborn. Interment will follow in Harmony Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Lambert, Billy Kroening, Thomas Lambert, II, Petey Lambert, Tim Lambert, and Warren Brown. Honorary Pallbearers include Bill Kroening, Randy Stanley, and T. J. Lambert. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 4 sons, Thomas E. Lambert of Iuka, MS, James Lambert of Burnsville, MS, Jessie Lambert of Iuka, MS, and Ronnie Lambert of Iuka, MS; 1 daughter, Loretta Kroening of Iuka, MS; 2 brothers, Walter Lambert of Corinth, MS, and Herbert Lambert of Walnut, MS; 1 sister, Pauline Brown of Iuka, MS; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary A. Lambert; a son, Larry Scott Lambert; a grandson, Scotty Lee Lambert; 3 sisters, Mary Lambert, Mandy Lambert, and Flora Osborn; and 5 brothers, Herman, Hick, Woodard, J. R. and L. E. Lambert. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Hill Cemetery Fund.
