Brenda Clark Balentine Brenda Clark Balentine, 59, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, November 25, 2010, at her residence. She enjoyed reading and talking with family on the telephone. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m, Friday, November 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Perry Murphy. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cherokee, AL. Pallbearers include Gary Wayne Maxwell, Wayne Simpson, Johnny Ledbetter, John Maxwell, Jeff Clark, and Dustin Maxwell. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son, Anthony Lambert of Iuka, MS; 2 sisters, Linda Hathcock and friend, Jeff Linton, of Iuka, MS, and Beverly Ann Dickey and husband, Neal, of Collinwood, TN; 3 nephews, Colton Ledbetter and Chris Davis, both of Iuka, MS, and Daniel Henry of Belmont, MS; 1 niece, Lacy Hathcock of Lake Charles, LA; and numerous aunts, uncles, stepchildren, and stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry K. Balentine; her parents, Travis Hildred Hathcock and Billie Sue Borden; a brother, Dean Hathcock; and 2 infant sisters, Nancy Carroll Hathcock and Barbara Jean Hathcock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the tax-deductable fund for Mrs. Balentine?s step-granddaughter to go to China at BancorpSouth in Iuka.
