Sfc Jason Belue

Sergeant First Class Robert Jason Belue, 44, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the 154th Regiment, Regional Training Institute, Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Jason was a 24-year military veteran and a member of the 1st Squadron 98th Cavalry Regiment. He enjoyed racing and spending time working on his Mustang GT 350. A firearms enthusiast, he enjoyed anything to do with guns, especially target practice. Jason was a proud family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife and sons. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jennifer Brents Belue; his sons, Blake Belue (Tiffnie), Jason Bailey Belue (Chloe), and Brentley Belue; his granddaughter, Hazel Belue; his parents, Robert and Debbie Belue; his in-laws, Philip and Nancy Brents; his sister, Leanne Pitts (Jason); his sister-in-law, Sheila Dufek; his nieces, Tabitha Defek and Makayla Dufek; his nephews, Justin Wadkins and Braylen Pitts; and countless friends and service members of the 1st 98th Calvary. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buddy and Earlene Crow, Joe Dillard, and Clifford and Hester Belue. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 3, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, MS. Visitation will continue on Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 12pm until service time. Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen.
