With deep roots in the community and a heart for service, Billy Glover is a man you can count on during the best and worst of times. Billy became a part of the Cutshall Funeral Home family in 2016 and has worked with the public for most of his adult life. His life experiences and willingness to help have made him a perfect fit for Cutshall Funeral Home as we strive to meet the needs of families during their times of loss.
Billy resides in the New Salem community with his wife, Tammie. Billy and Tammie have three sons including Ryan and wife, Amy, and Zach and wife, Jessica. Their son Christopher graduated from this life at age 13. They have four grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Kate, and Nora. Billy is the son of the late Billy Glover, Sr. and Kathryn Glover of Iuka.
Billy was born and raised in North Mississippi. He graduated from Burnsville High School and attended Northeast MS Junior College. After working construction for several companies during the construction of the Tenn-Tom Waterway and the Yellow Creek Nuclear plant, he worked for the City of Corinth for 34 years. Billy was elected Justice Court Judge in the Northern District of Tishomingo County from 2004 – 2016.
Billy is a member of The Bridge at Burnsville Church where he serves as a board member, Lay Minister, and Adult Sunday School teacher. We consider Billy’s solid character and desire to serve his fellow man as one of our greatest assets, and we hope he will be part of serving the community with us for a long time to come.
